New home consoles are coming in 2020, but this time, Loki Jarson and Jo Stizzy run through and highlight some of the best video games of this current console generation. We've got Xbox One exclusives (1) Nintendo Switch titles (1) and PlayStation 4 gems! The Internet's Worst Gaming Podcast Returns! Well, at least Loki Jarson (me) does. I recorded a solo show dealing with only two games: Gears of War 4 and Horizon: Zero Dawn. More specifically, the writing and plot of these games and how they are both terrible for different reasons. Less analysis and more late-night rantings, this episode was recorded in the middle of the night without really stopping. As such, a few things to note: I completely forget the name of both a character in Gear of War 4 and the name of the primary antagonists until nearly the end. My explanation of the AI system in Horizon: Zero Dawn doesn't make a whole lot of of sense, but the game does a very poor job of explaining them anyways. Halfway through, I realize my microphone cable is tapping against my desk so a very irritating clicking noise is heard for the first half of the show.
